1 Offloading in Danang VIETNAM We saw military installations in Southern Viet- nam, but never much combat. We will remember the picket boat Watches, the bombing and tracer shots in Danang, helicopters landing the Wounded on the USS REPOSE and USS SANCTUARY, the PBR's, skin diving in Cam Ranh, and perhaps most of all, the six months of combat pay. Who did it, the Navy or the Marines?
