Last Will and Testament Know ye, that the Senior Class of Erwin High School, all being in good bodily health and of sound and disposing mind and memory, before we pass into the great beyond, pause to compile and publish this, our last and only will and testament. To our beloved faculty we most willingly bestow our good will and winning dispositions over which we have no control. We hereto will and bequeath the said articles on this specific day, May the sixteenth, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, nine hundred and thirty, to-wit: I, Ishma Chandler, will my beautiful golden curls to Zelotes Rice. I, Edgar Fox, gladly give my loving disposition to Doran Ingram. I, Catherine Harrison, bequeath my enormous mouth to anyone wanting it. I, Paraleee Dean, leave my athletic attainments to Clara Evelyn Toney. We, Lillian Goforth and Chester Hensley, gladly will our graceful figures to the needy, namely, Mary Campbell and Albert Boyer. I, Anna Brown Lawson, bestow my dignity on Mary Smith. I, Rhea Lois Snapp, do relinquish my ability to write original themes to Mr. M0oney's English Class. I, Elmer Harvey, bestow, with my best wishes to Gene Beck, my ability as a football captain. I, Edwina Wing, will my ability to flirt in Classes to Rives Allred. I, Mark Hattan, do hereby will and bequeath my hack -ing, snorting cough to Clarence Witt. May he use same in Miss Goans' classes. I, Galena Parker, leave my sparkling blue eyes and black wavy hair to Wilburn Pickering. I, Bob Cunningham, will my enormous feet to Jack Huskins. I, Lillian Davis, regretfully will my weakness, falling for teachers, to Virginia Cook. I, Dorothy Ratliff, bestow my boyish ways and figure to one who needs them ITAOSI, namely, Bernard Penry. l, Elizabeth Thomas, bequeath my long tongue to Margaret Harvey. I, Lucille Bogart, leave my mathematical ability to Helen Scruggs. I, Nan Gillis, will my ability to cut study halls to Margaret Lovegrove. I, Helen Wattles, give my giggles to Milton Edwards. I, jewell McCall, will my baby face to Clifton Miller. I, Frances O'Brien, will and bequeath to Ruth Erwin my little red comb and brass compact, which ' have served me so faithfully for four years. I, Tom Howze, leave all my dramatic attainments to Farmer', Booth. I, Sue Shelton, will my pep to Nellie Wright. I, Chloe Anna Johnson, bestow all my sarcasm on Mr. Parks' Latin Classes. I, Edward Miller, happily and without regret, relinquish my duties as editor of the Nolichucky to Raymond Dalton. I, Archie McIntyre, leave my ability to collect ring debts to some unlucky Senior of 1951. I, Ora Jones, give my ability to read the answers to questions in English to Gene Burrell. I, Robbye Bradshaw, will my perfect silence to Mr. Parks' future classes. We, Elizabeth Woodward and Paul Duncan, will our loving ability to jane and Fred. The remainder of the Senior Class will their Success as Seniors to the junior Class.
