Lee Clark who is now married to the former Elaine Ander- son lives in this small suburb of Unadilla, our old home town. We were then told that Lee Clark was on stage with the Shrine Circus. He was employed as the thin man. As we rang the buzzer Elaine answered and we knew at once that we were at the right place. When we went in we were surprised to see Lee with four children on his lap, and to top it off we could hardly see Lee because he had lost so much weight. He weighed a mere eighty pounds. On the way to New York we saw a sign in the middle of the highway saying, 'The World's Heavyweight Champion, Marlin Callaway, was to wrestle the Mighty Atlas in Madison Square Garden at 6:00 P.M.' It was now 5:00 P.M. We then phoned the police and had a police escort to New York City to see this great exhibition. After Marlin had won the match we went to his dressing room and surprised him. He had an- other match scheduled for the next morning but he told Marilyn Monroe, his wife, she could take care of his opponent and went with us.
