Ray Ferguson. Lovay Tollett, Coach Dalrymple. 33 Our Basketball Record Senior Girls The Senior Girls team (at the end of January) has eight wins and nine losses. They have entered two tournaments. First, was Lockesburg Tournament where Umpire de- feated Foreman, 28-25; Lockesgurg, 30-22; and in the Finals were defeated by Mur- freesboro, 37-35. Next, was Murfreesboro Tournament where Umpire was defeated by Delight, who went on to take the tournament. Senior Boys The Senior Boys Team (at the end of January) has twelve wins and six losses. They have entered two tournaments. First, in the Lockesburg Tournament Umpire defeated Foreman, and then lost the next game to DeQueen. Next was Gillham Tournament where Umpire defeated Horatio, 47-40; Hatfield, 47-42; and in the finals defeated Cove, 39-37 to take the trophy. Junior Girls The Junior Girls Team has eight wins and two losses. They have entered one Tour- nament which was Langley where Umpire defeated Glenwood, 42-14; Kirby, 30-27; and in the finals were defeated by Delight. 28-25. They will play in Umpire's invitational tournament January 26, 27, 28. Junior Boys The Junior Boys Team has one win and seven losses.
