Teacher Of The Year Mrs. Betty Rynearson was nominated by the U.H.S. Faculty and chosen by members of the county staff as Lake County’s Teacher of the year. She has taught at U.H.S. for eleven years serv- ing as department chairman much of the time. She has been described as an ’’innovative creative science teacher... spending countless hours gathering materials and developing new methods.” Former superintendent Clyde Stevens said of her, ’’She exemplifies dedica- tion to the teaching profession through academic involvement and an abiding interest in the learning process of each and every one of her students.
