Only a short time ago you returned for the first day of the 1959-60 school term. Now the term is drawing to a close. We should take a look at the past year and see how wisely it has been used. Some of you are to be commended on the wise use of your time. Others of you need to make resolutions to do a better job in the future. Never before has achievement in school meant so much. Never before have we had the scholastic competition that students must face today. The record you make here will determine the course of your future. It is my hope that all of you can remember this year as being one of your more pleasant and more rewarding years of school. To the departing Seniors I would like to say. We will miss you; you are an outstanding group. To the other students the goal should be to make the next year better than this year. It has been a pleasure for me to work with you this year.
