SENIOR PROPHECY Sitting in my hotel suite in Lexington, Kentucky, after receiving the international award for the finest line of race horses in the world, I, Tobie Wiygul, started to think of my old senior class, better known as The Class of Champions. Naturally Leslie Kenyon comes to mind first because of the fine Morgan Stables he now owns. He is known worldwide as the man that sits tall in the saddle. Then there is Margaret Ann Sewell, winner of the National Award for dressing a steer in the shortest length of time over 500 other contestants. Herbert Babb, who has helped us all so much with our news bul- letins, has given big coverage on his worldwide newscasts. His interviews with professional basketball players Mickey Carter and J. L. Kicklighter and pro football players Melvin and Bang Collins were wonderful; just the right touch of sentimentality about the good old days. In my reminiscing, I go back to that wonderful night a few years ago when so many of us gathered in the House of Garris, owned by Mary Kay Garris, to hear Jimmy Daugherty and Jane Coates sing the lead in the famous opera, Claudia, written and directed by the famous concert pianist, Claudia Cal- laway. There was Glynda Lee Bertine and Linda Lou Graham dressed in their finest creations from the House of Lee-Lou, located in Altoona. Everyone arrived in cars, but John Ed Smith on one of his tractors - the world's finest model, air-conditioned with power drive. Lomax Sasser and Steve Rigdon were there wearing their crowns. They had just received them for being the oeauugest Beatniks. juliette Wingfield came surrounded by security guards from her atomic plant as no chance could be taken with the safety of the world's leading atomic scientist. It was then that Buddy Turner arrived carrying his shortwave radio set, saying he couldn’t leave it at home. (He was expecting a message from China ). That night we all ate at Doodles, New York's leading restaurant, owned by Doodles Seabrook. He has a worldwide line of restaurants and has just bought out all the Howard Johnsons in the U. S. I heard for old time's sake that he used only Miller Trucks (owned by Lloyd Miller) to do his trucking. The floor show that night was directed by Myrle Bubbles Daniels, and featured Kathie Cutie Keel and Susie-woosie Phelps, who had just returned from a command performance in England. Well, I have reminisced long enough. Now back to reality. I am surrounded by some of my classmates. Take Mickey Holsworth, for instance. He keeps my stables in good repair with mate- rials from his hardware store. It covers 10 blocks and is 6 stories high. Most of his deliveries are made with Carol Ann Holt at the wheel of the truck. Incidentally, she has just won the award of the world's safest truck driver. Then there's Doctor Walter Heim. I have him working for me at a fab- ulous salary as he is the world's most famous vet. He, with the help of his laboratory technician, Patty Lee, has written several books on diseases of horses. Ronnie Clark, President of Georgia Tech, and two of his associ— professors, David Coleman and Ernest Leggett, have been drawing plans for a tip-proof horse trailer. I expect them to arrive any day now. Here comes Louise Roundtree, Mr. Clark's private secretary, bringing me the plans now. I really must get down to work once again and check them to make sure they are what I really want.
