m(Lh A friend like him ihere were no others Bright was the smile he wore Good were the limes we shared Sitting in a park under a tree The two of us were happy as two could be I gave him much to make us happy I gave him love to bring us joy I gave him all, all I had Bui now 1 am left alone and sad A week went by, two now five He hasn ' t come to see me, why? I am hurt deep, deep inside My smiles are now tears, my laughter crying With him now gone , I felt like I was dying Alone 1 was left, always to be sad Each day was worse , nothing to look forward to My friend was gone, now I must leave too 1 always have feared that horrible thing death But I ' m sad and lonely, dying breath by breath A miracle happened, I am so overjoyed My friend came back, we talked and talked He said he did not know why he left We both cried and cried, to have each other Just like a family, sister and brother Big Guy A Last Thought We all must move on Like clouds. Time drew us together The times tore us apart Simple pleasures filled the air around us, Yet society builds walls which prevent Flowers to bloom Ours was sunshine and rain. Though it ' s hard to explain. So distant were we. So close at heart. Love sees through clouds which tend to Darken . Sunshine pierced the misty clouds many Times and touched our faces. Maybe it must be. But not forever. Time separated us, Time will marry, mend, sustain. Raindrops will fall and touch the seeds. They will grow and live and unite with one Another in harmony together with their Thorns and blossoms forever. Eli Wise i
