The first half of the twentieth century has brought forth tremendous advances in technological fields. Unfortunately, there is c: tendency today to regard the future with complacency, and to rest on past achievements. But, there are still great discoveries to be made-oll the work has not been done for us. We, the Elitian class of Summer 1963, are aware of the promise of the second half of the twentieth century. We realize that we cannot sit back and claim that all has been done, for we are dedicated to progress. We intend to give the future a little more than the post has given us. Ray Appleboum 32
