The Girls' Athletic Association is for the enjoyment of every girl. Its purpose is to further interest in co-curricular physical education activities by providing oppor- tunities for all girls to participate in a group, individual, or dual activity. This is possible because of the wide variety of sports offered at Grant High School. This semester members were able to choose among the following: Badminton, Beginning Tennis, Advanced Tennis, Basketball, Speed-a-way, Bowling, Golf, and Modern Dance. Competitions were held and trophies were presented at our most impressive Awards Night. Each member of this organization has gained tremendously by the fostering of spirit, loyalty, and co-operation that is so necessary for everyday living. Most im- portant of all, G.A.A, is dedicated to those who like a feeling of friendliness and good sportsmanship. Alana Kathleen Brown G.A.A. President for W'62 Mrs. L. Windham G.A.A. Sponsor
