Some of the service ojects it has for the school this year have been: pre- senting the flags in the assemblies, patroling the campus, and promoting at the basketball with its white shirt The year' s activi- were capped by the Barn Dance. Quest, a science interest group, was organized at Grant in 1953, and is affli- iated with National Science Clubs of America. Mem- bers conduct experiments, have field trips, outside speakers, and varied pro- grams. The members choose their own field of science to be active in, such as Biology Chemistr , Physics, Botany and manly others. The members are very friendly and welcome new members interested in science. 167

These activities included a car wash, rummage sale, the Tisque Turkey Troy, Tis- que-Cuieaf Christmas for- mal, an after-game dance, teas, and joint meetings. The group also did service for the Boys and Girls Aid Society, Providence Hospi- tal, and the Mann Home. The club received the social club of the term trophy. SPRING Pres. Marlene Grassens V. Pres. Sandra Lasselle Sec. Susan Gabriel Treas. Barbara Stout Thalian is adramatic in- terest club which takes pride in promoting the sub- ject of dramatic art. Tha- lian has completed many worthwhile service pro- jects. Among them are making hospital favors, cleaning the trophy cases, and collecting toys for the toy and joy makers. The club has completed a very prosperous and successful year. 169
