WY. vm, My Mu Nu Xi, founded in 1937, takes great pride in the accomplishments of its members, who strive to be a credit to Grant High School. Mu Nu Xi functions athletically and socially. The club has had open and closed dances, a Fathers' Day banquet, a Mothers' Day breakfast, and joint meetings. Kuff is the founder of the Multnomah County Clothes Closet to which they contribute clothing for the less fortunate people. FALL David Wetle ' JUNIORS The Grant Chapter of National Honor Society has had a year of activities SPRING Sally Drinker which characterize its purposes of character, leadership, scholarship, and service. The year opened successfullyfor the chapter whenthe senior HEAD COMMISSIONERS members made a field trip to the University of Oregon Medical School. Meetings which were planned bythe commissioners and covered a variety of interests were held twice a month throughout the year. During the last of November, seventy-six new members were taken into the group. In February the Chapter had its annual Oregon Day Banquet at which the new commissioners were The outstanding Spring event was the annual field trip taken As the last function of the year the Junior members honored announced and old commissioners retired. by Senior members to an Oregon college. the Senior members at an annual potluck.
