Sina Stromberg X Mike Maginnis KAPAKI social v V .JMQL E' 'H' ist ,vb 219' rf By the purpose of foster- ing and developing friend- ships, the girls of Kapaki help each other to become friendlier socially, more thoughtful in service. and more able in acholastic abilities. Kapaki has per- formed services including ushering, washing statues, and working at Filter Cen- ter. The social functions include teas, slumber par- ties, dinners, joint meet- ings, sales, carwashes and dances. The aim of Kandahar is to promote an interest in ski- ing at Grant. Kandahar has been an ac-tive interest club at Grant for many years. Last fall the members formed a ski team to repre- sent Grant in competitive skiing and organized ski trips and movies. The club was reorganized in the fall of 1955 and now has over fifty active members. 161

Klix has had a very successful vear and has completed many activities. Some of these activities include: two annual dances a rummage sale, and an annual Father-Daughter banquet, plus various joint meetings. Several service projects have been com- pleted by the club.
