UU' GIIIEAF social This year proved to be an active one for'Cuieaf. They enjoyed such annual events as the Christmas formal dance with Tisque, joint date meeting with Klix, Dutch auction, ski trip, and rummage sale. Last fall Klix and Cuieaf presented an after-game dance, The Rocket Rock . Joint meet- ings with clubs from Grant and other schools added to the activities. Judy Freeman GIIE social ,gg- nga One of the newest social clubs, Cue, spent a busy year of fun and service. Among the highlights were a rummage sale, fudge sale, sponsoring a Freshman activity cup, and giving a, party for childrens' homes at Christmas. From the social standpoint, Cue had joint meetings, monthly potluck dinners , celebrated Christmas with a progres- sive dinner, and ushered at the Civic Theatre once a month. 6 Sec . Pres. V. Pres. Treas. SPRING Larry Walker Rich Scearce Tom Constans Bob Schroeder Colton Meek Hi-Y is a service club affiliated with both the school and the YMCA. The main purpose ofthe club is to further fel- low ship and Christian char- acter inthe school and com- munity. During the past year, besides having per- formed numerous service projects for the school and community, the club parti- cipated with Hi-Y clubs from other schools in. joint activ- ities such as the city-wide induction ceremony and the Thanksgiving program pre- sented at the public audito- rium. 155

Social events have included date and joint meetings and two school dances. Delta Chi has also taken on. service projects. The members participated in the cafeteria clean-up and managed the clubrooms. Delta Chi has had a very interesting and active year and the social events have been most en- joyable. SPRING Pres- Gordon Frost V- Pres. Jerry Summerville I Sec. Charles Carr Treas. Roger Johnston The radio club meets in a garage which has been built into a work shop and ama- teur radio station. This year the group has been having fun talking to differ- ent hams from the car to other amateur broadcast- ers. The club has two li- censed amateurs, whose calls are Wn7-ZQR and Wn7-ZNU. The club built a 60 watt transmitter and is now getting a receiver. 157
