Beta' s most outstanding service projects included the plac- ing of signs in Hello Lane and the care of memorial plots. Beta held two big dances during the year, the Levi Leap and the Basket Ball, both of which were successful. Beta Phi held closed dances with Mu Nu Xi and Delta Chi. Joint meet- ings and rummage sales also were included in the year's activities. The purpose of Ata is to further interest in Spanish and Our Spanish speaking neighbors to the South. The group had a Spanish movie to which they invited Span- ish students from different schools, a candy sale, an open' meeting to provide knowledge about the club, and a party for the exchange students from Mexico. 151
