Joint meetings, fund rais- ing activities, and dances have played an important part this year. In the future the club plans to in- crease its membership and maintain a successful standing in the years to come. The club expresses its best wishes to the class of '56. Alpha Photo Rho is devoted to the advancement of photography at Grant. The members learn, through practical applica- tion, the various types of photographic techniques now in general use. The club boasts a long line of Grantonian and Memoirs photographers as well as a sizeable number of shutterbugs who have derived immense pleasure and satisfaction from the ardent practice of the art of Photography. 149

AGLEDN interest Acleon, derivedfrom the Greek playwright Aeschy- lus, was organized as a dramatics interest club last year. Its mainpurpose is to promote dramatic interest among students. A Grant teacher and a parent of one of the members were the advisors of the club. One of the many service projects Acleon has completed this year was ushering at dra- matic productions.
