ALS You, as a senior, are leaving the sheltered halls of U.S. Grant High School for a tension filled, highly complex, competitive society. Educational effort here has been directed to help you develop attributes that make one a responsible citizen in the greatest representa- tive democracy in the history of mankind. By now you should be well on the way to becoming a well-integrated person socially, education- ally, morally and spiritually, commencement truly marks the beginning of new experiences. As you occupy new places in society, your accomplishments will serve as a welcome im- petus to those of us who feel as if we've had some small part in having helped to point the way.
