LULU MEENGS We, the Student Body of the Ukiah High School, wish to dedicate this 1958-59 yearbook to our friend and former Grade School teacher, Lulu Meengs, who has so faithfully served in the Ukiah School system for the past 13 years. We realize that it is unusual to make a dedication to a Grade School Teacher from a High School Yearbook, but Mrs. Meengs is a real part of our long jo1u'ney through the Grades. Although she has a full schedule both at school and at home she has been a real help in many community projects and has given many willing hours to our High School programs involving music and dramatics. Many of us know Mrs. Meengs as a personal friend as well as a teacher and we wish her many more years of happy service in her school and community. The Cougar Staff

wks Our lunchroom was started in 1951 and has been in working order for nine l years. The cook, Mrs. Edna Hinton has been here all of this time and her helper, Mrs. Cecilia Killman has been here for seven year. We want to thank both of our cooks for the mighty fine meals they have turned out during this time. Our janitor has been working in our school for the past four years. We are very proud of our school and the very fine way it is kept. We want to express our many thanks to Mr. Wes Ayars our Janitor.
