R. Forbes, Inset, Tommy Howard Wfixed The Ukiah High School Chorus has made worthwhile progress this year. The personnel of the chorus consists of the entire high school body, with the addition of seventh and eighth graders. Sixth graders rehearse but have not appeared in public with the chorus. During the year the group appeared on several occasions, with a trip to Stanfield on April 1. The Stanfield audience was very appreciative. The chorus appeared in the Spring Festival at La'Grande on April 29th. A select group, namely Elizabeth Sheff, Elnor Rice, Marilyn Forbes, altoesg Donna Williams, Beverly letzgar, Beverly Rogers, Anna lee Flint, sopranosg Roger Brown, Lawb rence Brown, Roy Jones Tommy Howard tenorsg Gerald Brown Kenneth Brown, Dick Huston, and Kenneth Iyer, bassesg appeared in the massed chorus at La Grande on Apri 30th. With Irs. Gilchrist as our accompanist, and Hr. Forbes as our director we hope to be better next year, although we will be losing a large percentage of our bass singers.
