SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Gerald Brown was born in Colville, Washington, and went through the first four years of school in Northport, than moving to Ukiah to continue his grade and high school work. During his eighth grade he played in one high school play, 'Ir. Bean From L1ma.' When in high' school he was in the following plays, 'Grandpa's Twin Sister,' 'Here Comes Charlie! 'Keep Moving, Getting Rid of Father ' and 'Crooks for a Month.' Be was captain of the basketball team for three yearsg played football one year and baseball one year.- He was selected President of the student body during his fourth year, and was on the Annual Staff two years. During his junior an senior years he played a trumpet in the school band and was a member of the high school chorus each year. Kenneth Brown was born in Spokane, Washington and lived there two years before moving to Mandan, North Bakota. He started school and went four grades in Nandan and then came to Ukiah, where he finished grade school and is now finishing high school. when in the eighth 'grade, he was in a high school play 'lr. Bean From L1ma,' and since then he has been in the' following plays, 'Grandpa's Twin S1ster,' 'Here Comes Charl1e,' 'Keep loving 'Getting Rid of Father,' and 'Crooks for a Honth.' He played basketball three years and baseball one year. He played football one year and was captain of the 1948 team. During his junior year he was editor of the school Blast. He has been on the paper staff all four years and on the annual staff two years. He played in the band his third and fourth yearsg baritone and tenor saxaphone. He also sang in the chorus all four years. Charles Flint, senior class president, was born at Col- ville, Washington. His first five years of schooling were reb ceived at M111 Creek Grade School. He then moved to Ukiah, where he completed his grade'educat1on. In the fall of 1945, he entered Ukiah High School.l During the, four years in this school he has taken part in the following playesg 'lr. Bean From Lima ' 'Grandpa's Twin Sister ' 'Here Comes Charlie, ' 'Getting Rid of Fsther,' 'Keep Hovlng,' and 'Crooks 'For a Month.' He was i four-letter man in basketball and a one- year man in football, baseball and track. During his senior year he captained the basketball team. Charles was a member of the paper staff each year and served as its editor when he was a senior. He was also a member of the annual staff during his junior year. In addition' to his singing in the chorus Each year, he played a cornet in the school band when he was a unior. Roger Brown was born in Colville, Washington. He entered school at Bruce Creek but, after the first year, moved to Northport, where he went to school for the next three years. He then moved to Ukiah to enter the fifth grade and L had been here ever since. He was in the High School playsg'Grandpa Twin S1ster, 'Hsre Comes Charlle,' 'Getting Rid of Father,' 'Keep loving ' and 'Crooks for a Month. He has been art editor of the School Blast for three years and was on the Annual staff two yearsl He has been manager for the basket- ball team for three years. He has played a Trombone in the school band for two years and sang in the chorus each year.
