Certainly noth- ing is so inspiring as the precision ofthe Company when Commander Thomas gives an order in his ex- snap at the end of the review which once so at- tracted the Captains attention that. for this per- formance. we were the subject of his special mentionf, Some members of the Company are positively amazing. Errors in drill were no doubt attributable to the fact that the Southern gentlemen desired to take it easyn while the lvest- erners tended toward the rough and ready at the wrong times. liven so. How they accomplished this and absorbed twenty minutes of the time en route will forever be a mystery - super-navigation. no doubt. The live o'clock clubi' proved a hair-raiser to those who dearly loved their sleep. Some of these amazing men constantly braved the darkness of early morn to brace themselves against the forthcoming quizzes of the day. Yes. amazing men are the fea- ture of Company 2-1-.
