The Grounds Branch, in charge of a Roads and Grounds Quarterman, has a Grounds Section, Cement Section, Gen- eral Detail Section and Incinerator Section. The Transportation Branch, in charge of a Transporta- tion Quarterman, operates and maintains hospital motor vehicles. Ambulance service is furnished around the clock. This branch also conducts examinations for U. S. Govern- ment Operator permits. The Design Branch prepares drawings, specifications and cost estimates for work to be accomplished by Public Works personnel and for project submissions.
