CLOSING MESSAGE FROM THE SAT STAFF The SAT Program of 1967 has been a very rewarding summer for the officers and instructors as this has undoubtedly been our best summer program. As educators and Navymen, we are concerned with the role our Navy men will assume in our rapidly changing society and world. We are sure you are acutely aware of your responsibilities in safeguarding the principles of democracy. Just as the Naval Air Reserve constitutes the heart of NavalAviation so does the SAT Program constitute its cradle. From your ranks will come the candidates for all phases of the United States Navy and the Naval Air Reserve. Individual ly you may feel a great satisfaction that you have chosen the Navy as your way of serving your country. Graduation . . Attorney General Head presents the graduation message. . .kkf is

Dedication . . . x r r Members of Battalion '67 wish to offer their thanks to all our instructors who have provided us such a solid military foundation. Howeverg the feeling of grat- ' itude cannot be fully expressed until there is a realization of how dependent we are upon the many things that were taught this past summer. The value of our r newly acquired knowledge becomes more and more evident each day as it is put ' into practical use. r A k Battalion ,67 would also like to give special recognition to an instructor who ' gave much of his spare time to further develop the ideals of Naval tradition. We , therefore dedicate this Battalion ,67 Cruse Book to ABH1 Murray. l I 31 5 2 ii 5
