ACTI ITIES . . . CHOIR 'I'he Ni-XPS Glcc Club was organized sole- ly for the purpose of giving those of us who like to sing a chance to have fun together. 'l'he members inet 'tuesday' and Thursday afternoons around the piano and blended their voices in inusic ranging from the semi- classics to popular songs, and hymns and spirituals. Though the glee club had an uphill tight, both financially and musically they showed real acomplishmcnt. For example, during the intermission at the Christmas dance. they presented a short program of carols, which gave expression to our Yuletidc cheer. Of course our harmonizing classmates made no bid to compete with the Metro- politans male chorus, but they did keep alive, amidst our academic pursuits, that age-old recreation ot singing.
