The battery, with other elements ot the l32nd Field Artillery Battalion as then organized, perpetuated the his- tory of the 132nd Field Artillery Battalion as redesignated and reorganized 1 February 1942 trom the lst Battalion l32nd Field Artillery Regiment. The l32nd Field Artillery Battalion was entitled to a World War 1 campaign streamer without inscription. lt participated in the NAPLES-FOGGIA Cwith arrowheadl, ANZIO, ROME-ARNO, SOUTHERN FRANCE Cwith arrow- headl, ARDENNES-ALSACE, RHINELAND and CENTRAL EUROPE campaigns ot World War ll and was awarded a French Croix de Guerre with Palm, World War 11 streamer embroidered VOSGES. On 16 March 1959 the battery was consolidated with Battery C, 648th Armored Field Artillery Battalion Cor- ganized and Federally recognized 18 March 1948 as Battery C, 96lst Field Artillery Battalion, with station at Col- orado City, Texasl.
