The Division was de- acTivaTed in March l9I9 and remained so unTil early OcTober l942. The 92nd lnTanTry Division was acTivaTed on I5 OcTo- ber I942. The RegimenT arrived aT Leghorn, ITaly on 5 November I9-44, and on I I November I944 was commiTTed To combaT wiTh oTher 5Th Army EIernenTs on The WesT CenTral CoasT.
