ASSISTANT COIVIIVIANDANT AIR DEFENSE SCHOOL i l . A Brigadier General Oblinger was appointed to the US Military Academy, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, and was commissioned in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery. He attended the Officer Basic Course at Fort Bliss, served in Anti-Aircraft and Field Artillery Batteries in Japan and Ft. Bragg, and completed a Battery Officers Course, and served as a battery officer and commander in the Nike Hercules defense of the Washington-Baltimore area. He completed Artillery and Anti-Aircraft Advanced Course and served as Aide-de-Camp to the Chief MAAG in Vietnam. General Oblinger studied Nuclear Physics at Tulane University and graduated with a Master of Science degree. After completing the United States Army Command and General Staff College, United Kingdom Joint Ser- vices Staff College in England, he commanded the 5th Battalion, lst Air Defense Artillery in Wies- baden. He served on the Department of Army Staff, graduated from US Army War College and returned to Germany to command the 94th Air Defense Artillery Group. He was promoted to his present rank in 1975 and assigned to command of the 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. He re- turned to the US from Korea in 1976 and was assigned as Assistant Commandant of the US Army Air Defense School at Ft. Bliss.

' r g 1 ' vm 4 iu?,.,5W V if il, Qff . QW M ,-1. Command Sergeant Major Billy W. Coleman is a veteran of 27 years military service. Following his basic training in 1950, he was assigned to the 3d Infantry Division in Korea where he served until J ar 1951. Later overseas assignments include two tours in Japan, one in Dkinawa, one in anu y Germany, and another tour in Korea. His US assignments have included duty with ADA units in Wisconsin, California, and Fort Bliss, Texas. CSM Coleman's duties have ranged from platoon . . . b sergeant to first sergeant and operations sergeant to sergeant major. He was selected to e a command sergeant major in 1974, at which time he became CSM of the 3d ADA Training Bat- talion jMs1j, 1st ADA Training Brigade. ln November 1976, CSM Coleman was assigned as CSM of the 1st ADA Training Brigade. His decorations include the Combat infantry Badge, The Purple Heart, the Meritorius Service Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Army Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters.
