Lunn graduated from West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree and was commissioned a second Lieutenant of Artillery. He commanded B Battery, 44th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, Camp Stewart, Georgia, had two battery commands in Japan and Colorado, and graduated from British School of Anti-Aircraft Artillery in Wales in 1956. He then served as Head- quarters Battery Commander and assistant operations officer of the 32nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Brigade in Germany. He obtained his Master's Degree in Aero-space engineering in 1961 and be- came Chief of the Lance Missile Development Program at Fort Sill. He graduated from the US Army Command and General Staff College in 1965 and assumed Command of the 4th Missile Battalion, 44th Artillery, in Korea. He attended the Army War College and was assigned to the Office of Chief Research and Development in Washington as Chief of the Air Defense and Missile Division. He was Assistant to the Secretary of the Army, commanded the 94th Air Defense Artillery Group, was Deputy Commanding General of the 32nd Army Air Defense Command, became Assistant Commandant U.S. Army Air Defense School at Ft. Bliss in 1974. He was promoted to Major General in 1976 and assumed command of the US Army Air Defense Center and Fort Bliss.

ASSISTANT COIVIIVIANDANT AIR DEFENSE SCHOOL i l . A Brigadier General Oblinger was appointed to the US Military Academy, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, and was commissioned in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery. He attended the Officer Basic Course at Fort Bliss, served in Anti-Aircraft and Field Artillery Batteries in Japan and Ft. Bragg, and completed a Battery Officers Course, and served as a battery officer and commander in the Nike Hercules defense of the Washington-Baltimore area. He completed Artillery and Anti-Aircraft Advanced Course and served as Aide-de-Camp to the Chief MAAG in Vietnam. General Oblinger studied Nuclear Physics at Tulane University and graduated with a Master of Science degree. After completing the United States Army Command and General Staff College, United Kingdom Joint Ser- vices Staff College in England, he commanded the 5th Battalion, lst Air Defense Artillery in Wies- baden. He served on the Department of Army Staff, graduated from US Army War College and returned to Germany to command the 94th Air Defense Artillery Group. He was promoted to his present rank in 1975 and assigned to command of the 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. He re- turned to the US from Korea in 1976 and was assigned as Assistant Commandant of the US Army Air Defense School at Ft. Bliss.
