He attended high school at Woodbridge Senior High in Woodbr1dge Virginia and graduated 1n 1977 In August of that year he enlrsted in the Navy attending recruit tra1n1ng at RTC Great Lakes Chicago Illinois His duty assignments include Attack Squadron THREE FIVE where he made two deployments onboard USS NIMITZ QCVN 685 Strike Aircraft Test Directorate Naval Test Center Patuxent River Mary land Attack Squadron SIX FIVE where he made two deployments onboard USS DWIGHT D EISEN HOWER QCVN 695 Marine Corps Base Brig Quan t1co Virginia where he served as a Brig Supervisor Naval Construction Training Center Detachment Ft McClellan Alabama where he taught MA A School and Physical Security for the U S Army Military Police School USS THOMAS S GATES QCG 511 where he made two deployments and served as an Independent duty Chref Master at Arms U S Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek Norfolk Virginia where he served as the Assistant Security Officer and Chief Master at Arms U S Naval Support Activity Gaeta Italy where he served as Security Gfficer and Command Master Chief and Strike Fighter Squadron THREE SEVEN where he made the maiden voyage onboard USS HAR RY S TRUMAN QCVN 751 and served as the Com mand Master Chief He assumed the duties as Command Master Chief of Carrlerfllr Wing THREE in July 2002 Master Chief Turner is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class '94.
