This responsibility requires a lot of careful coordination and train- ing to complete all the evolutions safely and expeditiously. Weapons Department is separated into five divisions and each division is responsible for a different area of the department's mission. G-l is responsible for flight deck and hangar deck ordnance, G-2 for the armory, G-3 Sailors Work in the magazines, G-4 maintains and operates the Weapons elevators and G-5 is responsible for the overall administrative needs of the department as Well as quality assurance.
