The Engineering Log room's responsibility is to ensure that all admin- istration issues for more than 300 engineers and TAD personnel are taken care of expeditiously. On a daily basis, the yeomen must prioritize the Workload and professionally distribute all correspondence to all divisions and ensure each item is correct and properly routed up the chain of com- mand. The log room must log and track request chits, qualifications, stan- dard letters,aWards, official mail and incoming and outgoing messages. These yeomentiwork hand in hand with the engineers to help with anything from service record entries to pay problems, The log room is the customer service counter forthe Engineering Department.
