' Consider- ing the embarked air Wing has a multitude Of different aircraft that have an assortment of intricate and sophisticated electronic equipment, the ,division is highly skilled. Avionics repairs and tests avionics equipment such as radar, radio communications, instrument displays, electrical generation systems and Weapons systems. Utilizing state-of-the4art test equipment,,these highly trained technicians are able to simulategjacttiasl flight conditions in order to y troubleshoot and repair onboard Calibration Laboratory V is responsible for the calibration of more than 10,000 items in AIMD, and throughout the ship. Staffed from AlMD,AirEngineering and Reactor, they ensure delicate insinimenrsr and test is within correct specifications and operatinglproperly.
