All Sailors and Marines aboard HST must be familiar with i MOPP (Mission Oriented Protective Posture) levels with regard to chemical, biological or radiological (CBR) attack. During MOPP Level IV, the highest state of readiness, all aboard are required to properly don gas masks, just as they would in the event of a real CBR attack. Every person aboard must be able to do his or her job while dressed out in CBR gear, and the training they receive during GQ drills helps them to do that. 42 ' .
