On the morning of Sunday 3 September, accompanied by a school of dolphins we passed the fa- mous Rock of Gibraltar One of the Pillars of Hercules Gibraltar marks the entrance to the Mediterranean. By 6 September we were on station in the Adriatic reliev- ing USS MISSISSIPPI ICGN-402 as Red Crown, track- ing and identqcying aircraft while of the coast of the former Republic of Yugoslavia, and maintaining infor- mation on surface vessels in support of Operation Sharp Guard. ,EH J , -54.
