After several weeks every member of the class was fully aware that he was attending a professional school and not a college such as he attended previously. This was evident by the attitude of the students. All was not study, however, for a few moments of relaxation were forthcoming. The Col- lege of Pharmacy picnic, the sophomore class Christmas party, and other Medical Center functions helped to keep the members of our class socially alive. During this past year we have created an atmosphere of friendship throughout, and in doing so we have included everyone in our activities. McNu- mara, Dieter, Lozuno, Gustaf- son, Costello, Milliken, Beh- able mortar and pestle and intricacies of pharmaceuti- cal procedures to the tune of pounding hammers and falling lumber, sounds which gave us an exciting prom- ise ot spending some of our remaining school days in ultramodern surroundings. Among the many events we have enjoyed, one in particular stands out, the Fall Picnic at Marin Town and Country Club. Our class turned out almost one hundred percent to welcome the newcomers to the 'College of Pharmacy. Our sophomore year was a bit bewildering: our junior year has been tunp but our senior year will be one ot serious contemplation on graduation, taking the state board, and finally finding a place in the profession. . k rmnlq Clam
