Not a class to merely study and work we had many activities including a barbecue in Oakland, the lr.-Sr. banquet, and a Christmas party for underprivileged children, complete with Santa Claus. February came and with it the election of new officers: Mary Lou Hopper, presidentp Frankie Barben, vice-pres? dent: Marian Ostermann, secretary, and Dorothy Mac- caqno, treasurer. With the arrival of new freshmen, we became seniors, the wearers of the faded blue. As such we put on a fashion show for all senior nursing students of San Francisco. Februar 5 uming Claw One year has passed Csiglfil since We last boasted oi our mighty eleven and still we all have held out and have not fallen by the Wayside. We have had IOOCXJ participation in most of our activities and our enthusiasm is a mystery to all who know us. We kept busy most of the year with classes and ward routines along with the NCSNA conven- tion, class council meetings and the Student-Faculty Teas. At Christmastirne We all journeyed to Oakland for dinner prepared by our notorious chef Peg Bowen and for our first year anniversary we celebrated at the McBee's in Richmond. By next year at this time most of us will have at last attained our goal oi a graduate nurse, but till then we must be content with our extracurricular activities to keep us happy, it not healthy.
