Frerbmom Medzkal Clam The Class 'of 1957 had a very successful year in Berkeley, With Dave Costanza, president: Don Adler, social chairman: Carlene Chan, secretaryp and Don Bjorenson, sergeant-at-arms. The members were rather outspoken in their tastes and dislikes. They cheered at Saturday football games, they jeered at lab reports. They welcomed morning coffee breaks but Worried over Anatomy orals. Sallied forth on tennis courts but sweated through research problems. Enjoyed Tilden Park picnics but deplored 8:00 a.m. lectures. Went for noon bridge games but Walled at midterm grades. Claimed a baseball victory over the Stanford fresh- men but cudgeled themselves with Biochem note- books. Soaked up sunshine on Wheeler steps but shrank from impending finals. Thus, with one-fourth of their medical education behind them, the frosh medics are looking forward to a new year on a new campus.
