MAX BOVERMAN A close spirit of cooperation and harmony has l done much to make their first two years of medical training extremely enjoyable ones for the Sophomore Class. The class was fortunate in that it was unified under capable officers very early in the first year, and behind this leadership the class has very satis- factorily combined a dash of social life with its medicine. During the first year a number of informal parties were held, highlighted at the end of each semester by a large banquet. To usher in the second year a very successful barbecue and dance was given, followed a few weeks later by an informal party. The social highlight of the second year thus far was the annual Cutter Laboratory party which is an unforgettable event in the life of every U.C. Medical student. These various social activities have done much to unify the class and have better enabled its members to work together in close cooperation, which has helped the whole class to do better work. With such an auspicious beginning the Sophomores are look- ing forward to the second half of their medical train- t ing with enthusiasm and eagerness. JERRY MOORE ROBERT ZIEGLER MAX BOWMAN
