I Hong Kong Student Society Hunger Project Photograph submitted by the Hong Kong Student Society Mission Statement The Hong Kong Student Society (HKSS), with the constant need to improve the representation of Hong Kong Students, interests on this campus and within the community of the University of California. Photograph submitted by the Hunger Project, Mission Statement The Hunger Project strives to fight homelessness and hunger by helping homeless individuals meet their immediate and long-term needs while educating the campus community about our efforts in the hopes that more people will take action. Mission Statement The UCLA Gerontology Association bridges the gap between older and younger generations and to inform the public about the growing field of gerentology. UCLA Undergraduate Geriatric Alzheimer ' s Disease Awareness Association ' s purpose is to raise the awareness of Alzheimer Disease - its pathology causes, effects, and treatments - among the UCLA student population. In informing the students on the research studies and preventive measures currently taken to assess the disease, and its victims.
