Some are engrossed in the pol- itics which affect their stay at GCLA. Others concentrate on studies and ignore the enter- tainment and cultural aspects. A student majoring in the arts notices the new sculpture at the Murphy Sculpture Garden. He studies its form, exam- ines how the sunlight brings a warming feeling out of the wood material, and contemplates the correlation between the title and the work.
