MENS LOUNGE KERCKHOFF HALL • Twenty-second in a long line of dis- tinguished annuals, the volume endeavors to carry on the tradition of great U.C.L.A. year- books. In keeping with our efforts to achieve an all-campus yearbook, we have conscien- tiously tried to make it universal from the standpoint of coverage as well. The generally neglected two-thirds of the student body are represented more than ever before. Along with the usually over-emphasized extra cur- ricular phases of student activities, we have depicted the less publicized but more fun- it damental activities of the classroom. Be- cause a typical annual covering a multitude diversified elements lacks cohesion with- t a theme, the 1941 Southern Campus has , its theme the University of California, ch, although composed of seven widely red campuses, is essentially one.
