Brad Fairchild Brad has served as the Junior Class president this year, a position with little glamour compared to the responsibilities involved. Being a leader isjust one of Brad's attributes. He is both liked and respected by his classmates, as shown by being picked as a class favorite last year and runner-up this year. He also participates in athletics by playing on the varsity and junior varsity basketball teams. Brad is a fine Christian young man and sets a good student example for others by attending church and Bible study regularly. 1 TSTA DING .1 Melinda Griffin Melinda is best known and most widely admired for her dedication to scholarship. She is a charter member ofthe National Honor Society. Melinda also is a leader in all of her courses and has received academic honors each year in several subjects as a result. She shows versatility, however, in her wide range of interests. She has served her class as freshman vice-president, sophomore Student Council representative, vice-president of her class and secretary ofthe Student Council in her junior year. She is also a member ofthe Pep Squad, the TSCA softball team, a member of the SWORD staff. and assistant editor of the Shield Melinda is an active church member who exhibits confidence in her relationship with God, and shows this through her love and concern for others.

E IORS ulie Hunt Compassion and kindness are distinguishing ualities of Julie Hunt. Julie always nthusiastically supports TSCA academically nd athletically. She has energetically epresented our school in drama events, Bible uiz competitions, and basketball games. Her ependability and industriousness resulted in er being selected to serve as an officer of both er class and the National Honor Society. A ighteous young lady, Julie exemplifies strong haracter, mature understanding and a ommittment to follow the Lord totally. fn QW., Lisa jones Lisa has always excelled academically, as shown by her many honors and awards this year and in the past. She was a charter member of the National Honor Society, serving as their treasurer. Lisa was also chosen as an outstanding junior last year. She has served as one ofthe editors of the yearbook for the past two years, In this capacity she has shown her leadership ability and a very strong sense of responsibility. Lisa takes her Christianity seriously, and she has shown her concern for her fellow classmates in many loving ways. Gilbert Rogers Gilbert, a shining witness for the Lord, is deeply loved by both faculty and students for his kindness, cheerfulness, and eager willingness to help. His warm spirit of love and service resulted in his selection as senior class treasurer and senior class favorite even though this was only his first year at TSCA. A talented musician and dedicated student, Gilbert maintains high grades as well as many positions of leadership, supporting his school in every endeavor. His friendly personality and desire to serve also contributed to his earning many honors and awards at the school he attended formerly. Always dependable, Gilbert's steady walk with the Lord underscores that he truly is an obedient, dedicated disciple.

IU IDRS I Debbie King Debbie's bright smile and sweet disposition have made Debbie a favorite of students and teachers alik' 2. She truly exhibits the love and tenderness ofthe Lord in her daily activities. Debbie has won the admiration of her peers by being elected a varsity cheerleader for two years. In her sophomore year she was treasurer of her class. She is superior, also in the area of academics. She is a charter member of the National Honor Society and serves as secretary ofthe organization. Debbie was also a nominee for sophomore homecoming princess. All who know hcr are blessed by her attitude and enthusiasm. k Paula Morell Paula is recognized as a multi-talented student at Tyler Street. She enjoys the popular support of her fellow students as shown by the fact that she has been elected as a varsity cheerleader for three years. She has also been among those chosen as a class favorite, has served onthe Student Council as a representative of her class, and was elected an officer ofthesfreshman class. Paula represented her class as a homecoming princess for both the freshman class and for thejunior class. Academics also plays a very important role in Paula's life. She is a charter member ofthe National Honor Society and consistently is an academic leader in the school, having received many honors in her various subjects. In addition, Paula exhibits strong spiritual convictions and consistently walks in the ways of the Lord.
