Within the next two years. the enrollment more than tripled, reaching near 400 by l974. Bare beginnings and gradual growth characterized these years. ln 1974, the school's first senior Class consisted of two students. The school yearbook. the Sword, began operation under the direction of Kathy Chapman. An annual high school activity. the ski trip, was also initiated. sponsored by the student council. 1 The sports department opened with Jr. High, Jr. Varsity, and Varsity basketball. The triumphant season ofthe Jr. High brought home the first trophy for T.S.C.A. We all take pride in the growth and victories of these first years.

In 1975, the school newspaper, the 3 X Q X Shield, began reporting many exciting activities. The first annual school carnival held its first celebration with a circus theme.
