Homecoming '77 honored the Apache Band and Apache Belles for their 30th anniversary. At the Alumni Association luncheon Athletic Director Floyd Wagstaff presented awards to former Belle Director Eva Saunders and former band director Vice President Edwin Fowler. Despite a premature burning of the bonfire, a rebuilt one blazed right on schedule. A float winner in the downtown parade was Campus Christian Center with its love float. A Sigma Phi Epsilon representative got the plaque for their winning entry. Homecoming queen was sophomore Tammy Haden of Pasadena representing Alpha Tau Omega. ln a Belle style show, a modern Belle danced in the original Indian costume. . . t ,. '-', l l-X LI-,.
