Work on the build- ing, located adiacent to the Apache Gym, began in the early fall. My TECHNOLOGY BUILDING-The old Tech building, which for years has furnished special classrooms and laboratories for instruction in petroleum tech- nology, surveying, electronics and drafting, was on its last legs in that capacity. UA f hi- 4 Q K' 4 ' QT- I bd' APACHE GYM- This modern ful- ly - equipped gymnasium pro- vides space for the men's physi- cal education classes plus ath- letic events and general pro- grams. Only this year a new sound and acous- tical system was added to the gym which was completed in 1963.

Each time the tribe wins a football or basketball contest, the usual white lights that fill the tower turn to a bright gold. Following a defeat, the lights are extinguished. Judge Thomas Rarney donated the tower to the college in 1956.
