The Engineers Cluh was organized to promote fellowship among the future representatives of the engineering world. Much has heen done along this line in the way of field trips. Probably the most enjoyahle trip was made to the Gulf pumping station at Big Sandy After inspecting the plant, the group spent the night fishing and telling whoppers. About the middle of the year, the Engineers went to Lufliin to visit the foundry there. Unusual courtesy was shown hy the guides who made the trip very henelicial. In January the Cluh promoted the Engineers' lviinstrel, which was a wonderful success. Qther trips were made to the Cotton Belt yards in Tyler, the Texas Power and Light Company plant at Trinidad, and hflr. Frank Bell's irrigation project near Tyler. Page Tlurtyfun
