Alexander Bankhead, Mary Alice Blake, Melha Brooks, Ted Chilcote, Evelyn Crews, Louise Currie, Marjorie DeBord, Evelyn Edwards, Betty Ann Faulkner, Uwena Godfrey, Mary Helen Grider, Pauline Heiller, Price Howard, Wayiie Matthews, Louise McDonald, Josephine Newton. l SCHOLASTIC STANDING D Avalon Willis with a catalogue rating of 2,93 out of a possible 3 grade points leads in scholarship for the college. janetha Dale Kearhy ranks a close second with 2.81 rating. Third in scholarship is Marie Frances Lee, who has a ratio of 2.68. Mary Helen Grider has a grade point ratio of 2.66. Martha Odom merits fifth place hy virtue of a 2.53 grade point ratio. These grades were derived hy counting an A as 3 points, B as 2 points, and C as 1 point. Each grade is multiplied hy the hour credit, these values are added and the total divided hy the numher of semester hours. A ratio of 2.5 is necessary for eligibility to the honor roll.
