PM ,,..:.,v ,XL ,N 4 N CLA33 HISTORY v In 1924 a shy but determined group entered first grade. The following eight years brought many changes in the enrollment of our class. Our entry into Tyler High School was heralded by the addition of many new members. Being still shy but determined we faced our upper classmen with a defiant look. The downfall of our defiance was brought about by the customary initiation. Our Sophomore year was marked by few events with the exception of our Thanksgiving play which gave us our start in dramatics for future plays in high school. In the fall we returned to school to start a more eventful year. On November 25, we presented our class play HThe Family Doctor.N After overcoming many obstacles we entertained the Seniors of 1955 to a formal banquet in Holland, the land of dykes and windmills. After our summer vacation we came back as full pledged Seniors. Our first social event was a rol licking Freshman initiation with all classes pres- ent to'enjoy the stupidity of the Freshies. On Ap- ril l7, we presented our Senior Class Play HThe Unexpected Guestn under the direction of Miss Jean Oleniczak and' Mr. Harper, our advisor. Saturday evening May 2, we were entertained by'the Junior class at a formal banquet. On May 28, 1936, we graduated from Tyler High School. A- M sd--fl 5 all x...
