uf zhsz Athrilling performance by a championship football team, gay pageantry, entertainment by an award-winning band, excited spectators cheering Two Rivers on to a 38-12 victory over North High School--and all this cli- maxed by a celebration dance. Yes, October 29, 1965, was a memorable day for Two Rivers as she presented her alumni with their first Homecoming. The half time activities were headed by a proces- sion of convertibles carrying the queen, her attendants, and their escorts. First to enter was the sophomore attendant, Suzanne Langford, escorted by Randy Waller, and followed by the junior attendant, Judy Cathey, es- corted by Clay Jones. The senior attendants and es- corts, Julie Lane and Eddie Davis, Nancy Pewitt and Pat Brumfield, directly preceded the lovely queen, Brenda Faye Hill, escorted by the football co-captains, Dwight Cauthen and Larry Von Boeckman. The queen wore a stunningwhitewool suit, accented with brown accesso- ries, and was presented with a bouquet of silver mums and the traditional kisses during the crowning cere- monies. The game was followed by a victory dance in the gym where music was provided by the Squires Combo- -a funfilled end to a totally exciting evening!
