Carol Stone Senior Class of I966 1966 brought approximately two hundred young men and women closer to the realization of their life goals. By taking SAT and ACT tests, by filling out college forms, and by contacting and discussing potential positions with various business firms, seniors actively planned their futures. As Two Rivers High School's first class to complete the full six year course of study, the groups expectations of big senior status were not disappointed. Senior rings in the fall, the Senior Ball at Christmas, measuring for caps and gowns in the winter, and the senior play in the spring are but a few of those memories which will be recalled many times in coming years. To highlight the traditional phases of the big year are memories of the AA championship and the Metro Bowl game, the great school spirit im pep meetings inspired by the senior stick , and the swinging times at ever popular Pirates' Cove. But even as seniors participated in all of these activities, there was one persistent thought in the mind of each individual. Late spring made this thought reality, as final preparations were finished for the annual closing ceremony of the school year. What were the thoughts that would be clearly expressed in the faces of two hundred young people as they accepted certificates of their achievement? They were those of a firm foundation, lasting friendships, good times, and the responsibility of mature men and WOIT1911. 28
